Abstract

The seminar Muséum, objet d’histoire focuses on the history of the Muséum national d’histoire naturelle and its collections. It also reports on current research in the history of science and learned institutions dedicated to natural history. The seminar has been taking place for more than ten years, as a collaborative initiative between the Muséum, the Département Homme Environnement and the Centre Koyré. It takes place one Thursday a month in the Amphithéâtre Rouelle of the Jardin des Plantes, in Paris. The seminar is held in French and can be attended online.
