Abstract
The contribution aims to present the figure of Ulisse Aldrovandi as a bibliographer. In particular, through the analysis conducted on a number of manuscripts containing the alphabetical catalogues of the scholar’s library, the essay analyses the methods of collecting information and knowledge from an organisational and technical-catalographic point of view, also through a comparison with the contemporary bibliographical panorama.
